What are you willing to do yourself? What makes you seek out solutions if they aren’t provided? When are you willing to take control, take action, take initiative?

We all know the old saying:

If you want something done right, do it yourself.

When is this true, and where do you see that in your own life? What sparks creative problem-solving? What prompts you to create meaning, to conjure solutions, or to instigate change? When do you feel the urge to create space for something that is missing? What skills and lessons have you learned from doing something for yourself instead of having it handed to you? When is this not a choice?

The act of creation is a powerful thing. To take matter(s) into our own hands is an immense pressure and also an incredible gift. In DIY, the magic is in the journey to the solution, and in sharing found skills along the way to empower others.

Simply put, how does the spirit of DIY enter your world?
